Hitting the charts this previous summer, Meghan knocked it out of the park with her catchy single “All About That Bass.” As if the song wasn’t cute enough, the music video is a dream land of pastels, fun dancing, and lots of attitude. She’s so fierce. Gosh. Her single topped charts in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Germany and the UK along with reaching number 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

Currently, Ms. Trainer is awaiting her album debut on January 13, 2015 in the U.S. called Title. Currently there are 5 singles available on iTunes including “All About That Bass,” “Dear Future Husband,” “Close Your Eyes,” “Title,” and “Lips are Movin.” Title is fun, and from these released singles, without a doubt establishes a sense of humor for this young artist. Much like pop artist Lily Allen, Meghan Trainor isn’t afraid to talk about things that aren’t usually talked about in society. Singing about being curvy threw skinny chicks a curve ball and not everyone liked it. But whatever. I like it…(that’s all that really matters). Keep it coming Ms. Trainor, we want more!

Currently on tour, Meghan stopped in at  2DayFM’s “The Dan & Maz Show,” where the singer covered Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” on a ukulele. It’s adorable and just makes me want to go to the beach… must be the ukulele. Even throwing in her own improv, Ms. Trainor’s chill approach will definitely get your toes tapping.
