Manchester native Jamie Lawson is one lucky lad. He’s Ed Sheeran’s friend and the first artist to sign to Ed’s new record label, Gingerbread Man Records. The two pals just finished their American tour, stopping by my home town a few weeks ago along with Christina Perri. It was an amazing night of music and fun and one of my favorite concerts to date.
Jamie has been promoting his single, Wasn’t Expecting That, and we have been expecting it to be a big hit, and we were right. It’s made it’s way on to radio stations across the U.S., even down in Texas, and is still climbing the charts. Just today, October 2nd, Lawson released his next single, Cold In Ohio. Watch Ed and Jamie’s beautiful acoustic performance of Cold In Ohio from a few months ago, below. Does this mean more collaborations from these guys in the future? We sure hope so!
Be sure to pre-order Jamie Lawson’s self-titled album for more great music. Album release day is set for October 16, 2015 in the U.S.
