Fall has finally arrived in Texas, and with the change of weather, naturally a change in music is needed. Here are some of my newest finds…
Dot & Logic
Dot & Logic is a fresh new group out of Brooklyn, NY consisting of members Kyle Joseph, Nick Pope, Jon Markson, and Paul Bloom. There are definitely hints of John Mayer in their sound, it’s groovy, melodic, and dynamic. The band has a mature and cohesive sound for only forming in 2013. It’s rather impressive. A+ gentlemen.
Dot & Logic’s new LP Foresting will be released on November 13th via Odd Gift Records, a must-have for your music collection this fall. Listen to the LPs first release, A Newer Stem, below.

Anchor + Bell
I first came across this talented duo, Emily Herndon and Noah Needleman, a few weeks back as their cover of Florence + The Machine’s Ship To Wreck magically popped up in my Facebook feed. It’s hauntingly poetic and beautiful and the harmonies remind me of what was once The Civil Wars with Joy Williams and John Paul White (Still not over that band breakup). Goosebumps warning on this cover.
While mastering a series of cover tunes on their YouTube channel, the duo has signed with manager Joe Simpson and since released their self-titled EP, according to their website. Listen below for more Anchor + Bell.
