Last week, with news of bad weather on the horizon, many concerts & tours previously scheduled to play in the Houston & Austin area began to cancel & postpone due to potential flooding. Many artists urging fans to stay home and off the roads with the threat of bad weather.

As relief efforts begin for those who have been impacted, here are some of the amazing ways artists and bands are playing their part in Texas’ recovery.

As a local in Dallas, Texas, it’s been amazing to see our local community come together to help organize donation efforts. Some of my friends from college have been personally impacted and seeing them struggle and the continuing coverage on the news each day has been so devastating.

Any help you can give to local relief efforts whether it be monetary, food/clothing donations, time, etc. would be greatly appreciated from the people of Texas. #HoustonStrong #TexasStrong
