Lake Street Dive took over a SOLD OUT crowd at The Bomb Factory on Friday, July 20th, with support from the Rad Trads.
Though a seated show, the chairs were used little as the energetic crowd couldn’t help but dance and jive all night long to the vocal talents of Rachael Price and the Lake Street Dive jazz ensemble. Touring in support of their latest album, Free Yourself Up, released this past May, the crowds raved for favorites like Good Kisser, You Go Down Smooth, and Baby, Don’t Leave Me Alone With My Thoughts.
Charming everyone’s pants off (not literally), and responsible for warming up the crowd was The Rad Trads, hailing from New York City. Proper rock/big band/jazz influences filled the large ceiling of The Bomb Factory and got everyone’s dancing shoes warmed up for the night. The Rad Trads will be releasing their 2nd album this fall accompanied by another tour, bringing them back to Dallas this year at Sundown at Granada.
